Cardiovascular Fitness

Today, we did basic circuit training to evaluate our cardiovascular fitness. We did 10 stations for 45 second each and with 45-sec aerobic activity in between. After each activity, we noted down our heart rate based on 10 second.

At the end, we sat down together, calculated our heart rate to see our beats per minute per activity. We needed to know if we worked harder or not by looking at Target Heart Rate zone.

For homework, you need to record "under", "within", or "above" your target heart rate zone and then make a chart to see the ups and downs of heart rates depending on the activities you performed. We will discuss our findings after homework.

Good job! Next time when we do the basic circuit training, we have to be quick at transferring from station to station and checking your pulse.

Attached is the papers you've worked on today.

The Basic Circuit Training we did today...

MHR is maximun heart rate... which one's heart beats per minute should not go over. 50-60% is under the target heart rate zone. 70% to 90% is within the target heart rate zone. Over 90% is above the target heart rate zone.

Just do the chart... not the questions below.
